About ppf
Formed in 2005, ppf aims to provide a forum for photo-enthusiasts who are seeking to showcase their work as well as have it reviewed by their peers. Inexperienced photographers should find ppf useful in helping them develop their skill and understanding, whilst the more experienced will have their work reviewed by other experienced, and often very successful, practitioners.
ppf is based in the north east of England, but because this website is at its core, it welcomes the participation of like minded enthusiasts from anywhere.
Visitors to this website can view the work being posted by ppf members to the gallery and to personal portfolios, as well as read messages in the forum. To participate in the forum and to post your own work (and to have it reviewed) you must first register. Registration is quick, straight forward and costs nothing! For an annual subscription of £5 you can become an eMember, which brings with it additional benefits, such as removing the limit of 50 photographs which standard members can retain in the gallery.
So . . . . . . . if you . .
i) enjoy taking photographs, as well as looking at other peoples photographs, and
ii) use your camera regularly, and
iii) would like more people to see your photographs, and
iv) believe that we can all learn from other photographers
. . then you are well suited to ppf. Why not give it a try, and register.
Once registered you will be able to:
i) maintain your own portfolio and personal profile. You can add up to 20 photographs to your portfolio.
ii) add photographs to the gallery (no more than one per day) and have other registered members review your submissions.
iii) post messages in the ppf forum.
