I visited the Northern Gallery for Contemporary Art in Sunderland yesterday to see the work of Polish artist Artur Zmijewski. Still thinking about a short film of his ('Them') which formed part of the exhibition as I left the gallery I encountered this scene. An artwork from an earlier exhibition was being destroyed (officially) To understand why this might seem ironic you will have to visit the gallery for yourself.

Same place as yesterday, this time the ceiling.

Don't tell anybody but I should of been concentrating on my field work!
