Taken last Tuesday evening from the northern edge of Bassenthwaite Lake, Lake District, Cumbria. The light on Skiddaw only lasted for about 5 minutes.

Somewhere on a road going towards Buttermere. The light changing in the Lake District is amazing. I liked the mist on the hills with a little light shining through on the grasses. The sheep seemed happy enough.

This was meant to be titled 'Reflections in Bassenthwaite but not enough room:)

Taken last Tuesday evening at 20.06 hrs. A lovely summers evening.

I did think about taking the pink flower out but decided to leave the image untouched for now.

Buttermere, the sky was a bit grey but hey ho, it can't be good all the time!

Its the standard view of Lindisfarne Castle that everybody takes but I didn't have my own version, so here it is. Taken on Bank Holiday Monday, so very busy, decided not to clone out the people as they give a sense of scale to the whole thing. My son spent the whole of last week on the Island so was our tour guide for the day. Don't you just love a know it all!
