The young lady was in a gallery in this country . . several years ago. I have introduced them together because together, I believe they make a more powerful statement about ‘self expression’ than on their own. Not everyone will agree with the construction I have put on things! Speak your mind. #34 in the 'Two Faces' Album

I often discard shots I have taken that I would have been happy with a while ago as they are nice to look at but need an aditional interest within.
The above picture though interesting has far more impact with the flame haired lady within.Expertly done Alan ..if I try this the new bit looks stuck on...

To say these are meant to be death masks the girl on the left must have died peacefully as she almost seems to be smiling. Am I correct in assuming these are part of a row of masks of famous and anonymous people, the man on the right being Anton Bruckner?

It's an unusual piece of art isn't it, but does have an appealing quality about it.

You're right on the factual stuff (I'm impressed!) I chose to include only part of the artwork (appropriating it for my purposes) The young lady (the one with her back to the camera) is clearly expressing her individuality in another way. Three people expressing themselves . . . in their own, very different ways.

What a brilliant capture. The masks have me wondering. Is the young lady his wife when she was young, his daughter when young or is it young and old?The live image of girl with the red hair makes just brings life to the shot.
