Privacy Policy
We respect the privacy of every person who visits or joins this site. Our policy on the collection and use of personal information is outlined below.
We collect and use personal information in order to:
(1) Administer or otherwise carry out our obligations in relation to your membership.
(2) Anticipate and resolve problems with your membership.
(3) Provide the information about meetings, events, etc. in relation to your ppf membership.
In order to do the above, we need to collect and process personal information about you (including your name, address, telephone number and email address). We may ask you for this information on our web site.
We will not disclose any personally identifiable information without your permission unless we are legally required to do so (for example, pursuant to a court order or for the purposes of prevention of crime or fraud). You will be treated as having given your permission for disclosures referred to in this policy. We co-operate with law enforcement inquiries, as well as other third parties, to enforce local laws and third party rights, such as intellectual property rights and laws relating to fraud. Therefore, in response to a verified request by law enforcement or other government officials, we can (and by joining ppf you permit us to) disclose personal information such as name, address, telephone number, email address, and other information held about you as we, at our sole discretion, believe necessary or appropriate in connection with an investigation of fraud, intellectual property infringement or other unlawful activity.
In order to help us provide you with the highest level of service, we may use the information you supply us with for:
Sending you information about our meetings, services, and any information we deem valuable.
Sending questionnaires regarding our service in conjunction with your membership.
We will hold your personal information on our systems for as long as you use the service and remove it in the event that you no longer wish to continue your registration as a ppf member. We will ensure that all personal information supplied is held securely, in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.
We offer you the ability to review and change the information you submit to us by logging into the ppf site and entering in the new information yourself (located in your control panel). You can change your password, contact information and postal address by logging into your control panel.
Upon your written request, we will cease your membership, and remove your contact information, forum contributions and photographs from our databases. To make this request, please contact admin@ppfuk.com. Such information will be removed as soon as reasonably possible.
We will retain in our files information you have requested to remove in some circumstances, such as to enforce our privacy policy. Further, such prior information is never completely removed from our databases due to technical and legal constraints, including stored "back up" systems. Therefore, you should not expect that all of your personally identifiable information will be completely removed from our databases in response to your requests.

We may automatically collect non-personal information about you, such as the type of browsers you use or the web site from which you linked to us. This information is only used to assist us in providing an effective service on this web site. You cannot be identified from any of this information.

Therefore, although we use standard practices to protect your privacy, we cannot guarantee that your personally identifiable information or communications with ppf will always remain private. We will always endeavour to keep details as secure as possible at all times.
