The journey from Kyoto to Tokyo was memorable for two main reasons. Firstly, it was aboard a Bullet train, and secondly for the glimpse of Mount Fuji through the carriage window. I could not help presenting it this way . . . given the proximity to the venue at which many world leaders signed an agreement last September to reduce harmful emissions into the atmosphere. | Love the significance but what also is appealing is the thin layer of remaining snow around the crater which is very complimentary to the steam effluent. |
